Stability is an additive that we highly recommend when you are first starting up your jellyfish aquarium and any time you are doing partial waterchanges.

Stability will rapidly and safely establish the aquarium biofilter in your jellyfish aquarium, thereby preventing the #1 cause of jellyfishfish death: “new tank syndrome”. Stability is formulated specifically for the aquarium and contains a synergistic blend of aerobic, anaerobic, and facultative bacteria which facilitate the breakdown of waste organics, ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate. The bacteria employed by Stability are non-sulfur fixing and will not produce toxic hydrogen sulfide. Stability is completely harmless to all jellyfish, thus there is no danger of over use.

Stability is the culmination of nearly a decade of research and development at SeaChem Laboratories and represents the current state of the art in natural biological management.

The bacteria used in competing products are inherently unstable. The conditions necessary for their growth and development fall into a very narrow range of temperatures, pH, organic loads, etc. When any of these parameters are not strictly within the proper range, the bacterial culture quickly crashes and dies. On the other hand, Stability is not limited this way. The necessary conditions for the growth of Stability’s bacteria strains encompass a very broad range.

Directions:

• Shake well before use
• Turn off UV and/or ozone
• Monitor the progress of the nitrogen cycle by testing the aquarium’s water chemistry.
• Use 1mL for each 8 L (2 US gallons) on the first day with a new aquarium
• Then use 1mL for each 16 L (4 US gallons) daily until the nitrogen cycle is established in the aquarium

For optimum biofilter performance use 1ml for each 16 L (4 US gallons) once a month or with each water change and whenever introducing new jellyfish.
